Splitt-E Community Guidelines

1. Purpose and Scope

These Community Guidelines ("Guidelines") establish the standards of behaviour expected from every individual and entity using the Splitt-E Platform, including passengers, Driver Partners, Delivery Partners, merchants, fleet partners, business partners, and any other users ("Users").

These Guidelines are intended to promote a safe, respectful, inclusive, and trustworthy community. They supplement the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Driver Partner Agreement, Driver Code of Conduct, Merchant Terms, and any other applicable Splitt-E policies.

2. Building a Safe and Respectful Community

Every User shares responsibility for maintaining a safe and respectful environment. Users are expected to act honestly, responsibly, courteously, and in a manner that promotes trust, safety, and mutual respect.

3. Respectful Behaviour

Users shall treat one another with dignity, courtesy, and respect at all times.

Abusive language, intimidation, bullying, humiliation, threats, stalking, or any conduct intended to harass or distress another person is strictly prohibited.

4. Non-Discrimination and Equal Treatment

Splitt-E is committed to providing an inclusive Platform.

Users shall not discriminate against any individual on the basis of race, caste, ethnicity, nationality, religion, language, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.

5. Harassment, Abuse and Violence

The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

Physical violence or assault.

Verbal abuse.

Threats or intimidation.

Bullying.

Stalking.

Coercion.

Extortion.

Any behaviour creating an unsafe environment.

Splitt-E may immediately suspend or permanently remove Users engaging in such conduct.

6. Sexual Misconduct and Inappropriate Behaviour

Users shall not engage in:

Sexual harassment.

Unwanted physical contact.

Sexually explicit comments.

Lewd gestures.

Requests for sexual favours.

Recording or photographing another person for sexual purposes.

Indecent exposure.

Any sexually inappropriate behaviour.

Splitt-E maintains zero tolerance for sexual misconduct.

7. Passenger and Driver Safety

Users shall not intentionally create unsafe situations or interfere with the safe operation of any trip or delivery.

Passengers shall not distract drivers while driving, and drivers shall prioritize passenger safety throughout every journey.

8. Honesty and Integrity

Users shall provide truthful information, communicate honestly, and refrain from deceptive or misleading conduct while using the Platform.

9. Fraud and Deceptive Practices

Users shall not engage in:

Fake bookings.

False complaints.

Fraudulent payment methods.

Promotion abuse.

Identity fraud.

Fake accounts.

GPS manipulation.

Artificial ride inflation.

Chargeback fraud.

Any activity intended to deceive Splitt-E or other Users.

10. Identity and Account Integrity

Users shall maintain accurate account information and shall not:

Share accounts.

Sell accounts.

Purchase accounts.

Create fake identities.

Impersonate another person.

Circumvent verification requirements.

11. Privacy and Personal Information

Users shall respect the privacy of others and shall not misuse, publish, distribute, or exploit another person's personal information without lawful authority or consent.

12. Recording, Photography and Surveillance

Users shall not secretly record, photograph, livestream, or otherwise capture another individual without authorization where prohibited by applicable law.

Where dashcams or safety recording devices are used, they shall be operated in accordance with applicable laws and Splitt-E policies.

13. Illegal, Dangerous and Prohibited Activities

Users shall not use the Platform to facilitate illegal activities, including but not limited to:

Criminal offences.

Human trafficking.

Smuggling.

Terrorist activities.

Money laundering.

Organized crime.

Any activity prohibited under applicable law.

14. Prohibited Goods and Deliveries

Users shall not request or transport prohibited goods including, where applicable:

Illegal narcotics.

Explosives.

Stolen property.

Counterfeit goods.

Illegal wildlife products.

Hazardous materials prohibited by law.

Any other item prohibited under applicable law or Splitt-E policies.

15. Property Damage and Vandalism

Users shall not intentionally damage, misuse, deface, steal, or vandalize any vehicle, parcel, equipment, or property belonging to another User or Splitt-E.

Users may be held responsible for repair costs, replacement costs, or other lawful remedies arising from such conduct.

16. Weapons and Dangerous Items

Except where expressly permitted under applicable law, Users shall not carry or transport weapons, explosives, or other dangerous items that could reasonably threaten the safety of others.

17. Alcohol, Drugs and Intoxication

Users shall not engage in behaviour that endangers others due to intoxication or impairment.

Drivers are strictly prohibited from operating vehicles while impaired by alcohol, narcotic drugs, or other intoxicating substances.

18. Child Safety and Vulnerable Persons

Users shall comply with all applicable laws relating to the protection of children and vulnerable persons.

Any suspected exploitation, abuse, trafficking, neglect, or endangerment may be reported to appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.

19. Digital Platform Misuse

Users shall not:

Attempt unauthorized access.

Hack or disrupt Platform systems.

Introduce malware.

Reverse engineer Platform services.

Use bots or automated scripts without authorization.

Exploit security vulnerabilities.

Interfere with Platform operations.

20. Respect for Splitt-E Employees and Representatives

Users shall communicate respectfully with Splitt-E employees, contractors, customer support personnel, and representatives.

Threats, abusive language, harassment, or intimidation directed toward Splitt-E personnel will not be tolerated.

21. Reporting Safety Concerns and Misconduct

Users are encouraged to promptly report safety concerns, misconduct, fraud, criminal activity, accidents, or policy violations through the reporting tools made available by Splitt-E.

Knowingly submitting false or malicious reports is prohibited.

22. Investigations and Cooperation

Users shall cooperate with reasonable investigations conducted by Splitt-E regarding complaints, safety incidents, fraud, legal requests, or policy violations.

Failure to cooperate may result in enforcement action where appropriate.

23. Enforcement Actions

Where a violation of these Guidelines is identified or reasonably suspected, Splitt-E may take one or more actions, including:

Issuing warnings.

Restricting access to certain Platform features.

Temporarily suspending accounts.

Permanently terminating accounts.

Cancelling rides or deliveries.

Withholding incentives or payments where legally permissible.

Reporting matters to law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required or permitted by law.

Taking any other action available under applicable law or Platform policies.

24. Appeals and Review

Where permitted under applicable law or Platform policy, Users may request a review of certain enforcement decisions.

Submission of a review request does not guarantee reversal, reinstatement, or modification of any action taken by Splitt-E.

25. Repeat Violations

Repeated violations of these Guidelines, even where individual incidents appear minor, may result in progressively stronger enforcement measures, including permanent removal from the Platform.

26. Emergency Situations

Users shall use emergency features responsibly and only when genuine assistance is reasonably required.

Misuse of emergency tools, false emergency reports, or interference with emergency response efforts may result in immediate enforcement action.

27. Compliance with Applicable Laws

Users remain solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, regulations, governmental orders, licensing requirements, and court directions while using the Platform.

Nothing in these Guidelines authorizes conduct that would otherwise violate applicable law.

28. Amendments to the Guidelines

Splitt-E may modify these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect legal, operational, technological, or safety developments.

Continued use of the Platform following such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Guidelines, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

29. Acknowledgement and Acceptance

By accessing or using the Splitt-E Platform, Users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Community Guidelines.

Failure to comply may result in enforcement action as described in these Guidelines and other applicable Splitt-E policies.

30. Contact Information

Questions, concerns, safety reports, or complaints relating to these Community Guidelines may be submitted through the contact channels provided within the Splitt-E Platform or on Splitt-E's official website.

Splitt-E will review reports in accordance with its applicable policies, internal procedures, and legal obligations.
